Our Mission

At Evergreen, our foundation is rooted in Psalm 1:3

“He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.”

Our aim is to create a life giving stream for students, a learning environment rich in the truth and love of Christ, grounded in sound doctrine, and marked by academic excellence. We seek to cultivate sharp minds, scholastic aptitude, practical skill, and a strong sense of community, all within the framework of a Christ centered education.

We believe that what is nurtured in young hearts and minds is an investment in the future. While the fruit may not be seen immediately, it will yield in the time the Lord ordains. Our prayer is that the stream in which these children are planted will will help bear fruit tomorrow, in the coming years, and into adulthood.

It is our hope and privilege to play a part in raising a generation of strong hearts and strong minds, formed for faithfulness, wisdom, the good of the future and for the Kingdom of God.

our beliefs

Evergreen Christian Academy bases its beliefs on the historic Apostles’ Creed, which has served as a clear and faithful summary of Christian doctrine for centuries.

The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into the dead, and on the third day He rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Biblical Worldview

In a world filled with countless voices, ideas, and competing claims for our allegiance, it can be difficult to discern truth, even for those who follow Christ. At Evergreen, we are grateful for the clarity and simplicity God has given humanity through His Word. Scripture provides a steady and trustworthy foundation in a noisy world.

We believe that the Bible alone informs our worldview. It is the ultimate authority for truth, moral understanding, and human identity. Scripture teaches that God is the creator of all things, that He created mankind in His image, and that each person is intentionally and purposefully made by Him.

We affirm the biblical understanding of family as established by God, and we hold that God created each person as male or female according to His design. We believe that every child is knit together by God with care and intention, bearing inherent dignity and worth.

At Evergreen, our desire is to teach and live out these truths with humility, love, and faithfulness, guiding students toward wisdom rooted in God’s Word rather than shifting cultural standards.
